Conservation Volunteers Work Party

Come join the volunteers to help maintain the high standard of nature conservation in Bedfont Lakes, from habitat management to footpath repairs! People volunteer for a number of reasons including gaining experience in the nature conservation industry, keeping fit, meeting like-minded people and putting something back into their local community. A stroll around the Country Park to look for some of our wintering bird species from the various ducks on North Lake to possibly seeing Bittern and Water Rail around the reedbeds fringing the lakes.

Spencer Perceval was the only Ealing resident to become Prime Minister (in 1809) and the only British Prime Minister to have been assassinated (in 1812). This exhibition tells the story of his life and career, his assassination and the building of his memorial Church, All Saints, on land that once belonged to Gunnersbury Park.
