Home Library Services

If you are unable to get to one of Hounslows libraries then let the library come to you.

Who can use the service?

The service is available to residents of Hounslow who are physically unable to visit their local library due to disability and or illness.  Whether you live in your own home, sheltered accommodation, or residential care you can receive this service.

What kind of service is offered?

A member of staff will deliver a monthly supply of books to your home. Careful records are kept of readers' current likes and interests in order to help with the selection.

As well as ordinary print books, we supply the following:

Stack of DVDs & CDs ●  Large Print Books Picture of a magnifying glass over some text

●  Talking Books

    (for people with sight difficulties)

●  Magazines

    (both general interest and specialist titles)

  • ●  Jigsaws

  • ●  DVDs

●  CDs

Other services, including reservations for library items and information are also available to members.
