It's National Storytelling Week!
30th January – 6th February 2010
Come along and join in the fun! We hold weekly story times in all of our libraries. No booking is required, just turn up with your under 5s.

The TV Book Club
The TV Book Club replaces what was the Richard and Judy bookclub.
We have 11 sets of the Best Read books, one at each branch, except Beavers, Cranford & Isleworth . (The 3 main libraries have 2 sets each.) -
Quick Reads
As fast & furious as an action film. As Thrilling as a theme park ride.
Quick reads are short, sharp shots of entertainment - brilliantly written books by bestselling writers and celebrities. -
80 Years of Faber Books
As part of the celebrations to mark 80 years of Faber’s publishing history, Faber Firsts promotional books are now available at Hounslow, Chiswick, Feltham & Heston libraries.

Songs, rhymes and stories for ages 3 and under. We hold regular rhyme times in some of our libraries. No booking required, just turn up with your under 3 and join in the fun.

Orange Prize for Fiction 2009
Collections of the Orange Prize for Fiction 2009 books are available at Hounslow and Chiswick libraries.

Reading Group
Hounslow’s libraries host several thriving reading groups that offer you the opportunity to turn your personal experiences of reading into a shared one.
Discuss what you are reading with other members of the group, swap ideas, reflections and books. So if you are hooked on romance, mad about murder mysteries or just in love with literature come and share your passion.
