Beaversfield Park is situated on Rosemary Avenue, a 10 minute walk from Hounslow West tube station. As one of the few green spaces in a relatively urban area, it is a popular and well used site.
The park offers something for all members of the community, no matter where interests lie; from relaxing in the maze area, to having a game of cricket on the playing field, there are so many ways to enjoy its facilities.
Recently identified as a key park in the borough - the principle park serving the Hounslow West area - Beaversfield Park is a great example of what can be achieved through investment in a local park.
Facilities include two children's play areas for children and toddlers, tennis courts and a multi sports area. The park has a range of equipment to interest children including: four rockers, a play house, swings and play area for the under 5's, a carousel, multi-play area, climbing frame and swings for the over 5's. Seating for adults is also provided.
The park also has a large area of open grassland. Interestingly, the raised area is actually over an old air raid shelter. The former tennis courts have been converted into multi-sports play areas. A green field site, this park was opened to the public in 1935. The name is believed to have come from its location - near Beavers Farm.
