The play area will temporarily close on 14 February 2011 to enable improvement works.

The improvement project entails enhancing the existing play area utilizing some of the existing equipment within the existing area of the site. A number of new play features will be incorporated in to the site so as to provide distant areas for toddler, junior and teenage age groups.

The project will be completed over a number of weeks and the play area is scheduled to re-open on 1 April 2011.
