Opening hours:
Hounslow Heath is open every day.  Please note that the car park closes at varying times of the year according to season, but there are plates in place that permit cars to exit, but not entry, after these times.

Access to Hounslow Heath is restricted to pedestrians, with formal entrances off Staines Road and Frampton Road to the north, Avondale Gardens to the east and Simpson Road in the London Borough of Richmond to the south. One formal access point exists from the golf course to the west of Hounslow Heath which is part of the London Loop Regional Walk. Other informal entrance points exist throughout the sites perimeter.
The only statutory Right of Way on site is the London Loop which runs through the south of the site from Simpson Road entrance to the western entrance on to the golf course.

How to get there:

Bus - Services116 (Hounslow Bus Station – Bedfont/Ashford Hospital), 117 (Hounslow Bus Station – Feltham/Staines), 235 (Isleworth – Feltham/Sunbury, via Hounslow Bus Station) all stop by the Staines Road entrance. The 237 service terminates terminates at this entrance and links Hounslow Heath to Shepherd’s Bush Green via Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth and Hounslow. Services 110 9Hounslow- Tickenham), 111 (Heathrow – Kingston, via Hounslow) and the R62 (Twickenham – Isleworth) stop off Simpson Road to the south.

Tube - The nearest underground station Hounslow West (Picadilly Line) is 1.2km to the north of the reserve’s main entrance on Staines Road.

Train - The nearest railway station is Hounslow, which is 1.4km from the reserve’s southern entrance. Bus services link Hounslow Heath to Feltham Station which is 2km to the south west.
