Jersey Gardens - The Future

The London Borough of Hounslow, supported by the council’s park managers John Laing Integrated Services and Continental Landscapes have submitted an application to the Heritage Lottery Fund for £1.3 million pounds.

The project has already succeeded in securing a Stage 1 pass of the Heritage Lottery Fund application process for a grant to assist in the park’s restoration and is now at Stage 2.

If the Stage 2 application is successful the funding would enable the necessary works to be undertaken to physically restore Jersey Gardens and to tackle existing access and maintenance issues. The aim of the project is to enhance the gardens in a manner, which celebrates the past whilst also satisfying the needs and aspirations of site users.

Improvements identified to the re-landscaped space include an enhanced play area, new shelter, new entrances, new planting and new pathways.
