The new children's play area is now open.

The improvement project comprised replacing much of the existing fixed play equipment and furniture with a range of both fixed play equipment and other features which can be used as either additional play features or informal seating.

The overall play space is enhanced with formal seating and tree planting as part of the improvement project.

The project has now completed and has been well received by local children and families.
